Little Things Can Make The Difference
Yesterday, I received a great little care package from EzineArticles that really hit me. See I’ve been really sick the last little bit and in the mail I got this cool little (orĀ not so little) package from EZA. Everything in it was branded with their name and brand. And it got me thinking. How many of their authors wear their gear? How many wear it and are asked about it? How much extra traffic does the company get from these great little products? I mean, they spent almost $30 on shipping it here, how much would they make off of it, if I wore the gear out regularly? And that’s all part of the branding process.
And it is really a neat little idea. Keep your clients happy by providing them with a little free gear and in the end get more clients and exposure for it. Not to mention I will remember the company because on a cold freaking day, when I felt like crap I got a cool little package with all sorts of goodies in it.
Lesson learned? Sometimes you gotta put out a little cash and watch it come back to you ten fold. By making others happy, you can help your business prosper. And on and on the morals go. Either way, brand yourself, get your brand out there and make others days by doing it and your bankbook and soul will feel all the better for it.
